The Swaps mold is a portrait model of the famous Thoroughbred racehorse of the same name, first appearing in Breyer's Race Horse series in 1975 along with Kelso, Man O' War, Silky Sullivan, and Terrang. All of these racehorse molds were originally sculpted by Maureen Love for Hagen-Renaker as Swaps. Some of the earliest Swaps models have no mold marks, but the rest have the round "Breyer Molding Co." stamp, with a few also having the "B" stamp. This Swaps mold is almost identical to the Stablemates mold of the same name, save in size. Swaps is Breyer mold #604.
