Site Updates
This site is in a perpetual state of construction, but if you're curious as to what I'm up to at the moment, here you go:
April 21, 2011: It took me longer than expected to get my act together, but I'm presently working on updates, starting with the 2011 models and new JAH issues.
September 17, 2010: A full time job combined with full time school has conspired to keep me from updating. I'm now working to add the summer and fall new releases. Once those are up to date I'll start in on photos submitted by collectors. If you've sent me an email or a submission please be patient and I'll get to you as soon as I can.
May 23, 2010: The Mini Whinnies section is complete! I'll be adding more photos, but at last I have a listing of all of the Mini Whinnies models that I've heard of.
May 2010: The animal mold pages are done, so if you've been waiting to submit your animal model photos, wait no longer! I also just added the 2010 and 1995 dealer catalogs, and will be adding more this month. Also (still) in the works is more info on the Mini Whinnie line.
April/May 2010: The new model section is now up to date. Whew! Still getting the donated photos added, though I think I've got the majority up now. Next I want to add more of the animal model pages and then it's back to the Mini Whinnie pages!
March 2010: After a three month hiatus I'm updating again, and working to get all the late 2009 and early 2010 models added. I need photos of some of the Lone Star Experience models, and probably don't have all of them listed yet, either. If you've submitted a photo, information or correction and haven't heard back yet, don't worry! I've got something of a backlog but as soon as I get the new models listed I'll hit those up next.
October 2009: I just finished moving the site files to my brand new laptop, and it looks like it went off without a hitch! *whew* This means I'll be able to update on the fly and when at events like BreyerFest. It probably amuses me far more than it does you. :-) On a horsie note, we're seeing a lot of Special Run (SR) models released now in anticipation of the Christmas season. Pottery Barn Kids, Tractor Supply, JC Penney, Target and QVC have all released SRs recently. Be sure to check out the Special Run and New for 2009 pages for the latest details.
September 2009: I've been bitten by the Mini Whinnies bug, and am now working to add a complete mold list as well as an undated list of MW releases. Taking clear photos of models 1" high is proving challenging!
Late August 2009: The new Pony Gal models have all been listed, with the exception of the backpack sets, and all of the BreyerFest photos are up! The mid-year releases have all been added, as have the models available through the September/October issue of Just About Horses and the soon-to-be-released Tractor Supply Company special runs. Oh, and you can now follow this site on Twitter. Whew!
August 2009: Lots of new special run models are available through Target right now, and I'm working to get info on all of them onto the New for 2009 page. I'm also working to get photos taken of all the special runs available at BreyerFest, including the 20 piece Stablemate set. Look for them to be up very soon!
July 2009: Just back from my first BreyerFest!! I was having some site uploading problems that appear to have been fixed. Very shortly I hope to have photos of all the special run and auction models available.
April 2009: It's been a busy month! I'm adding a lot of photos from my personal collection, creating the first-ever ID Your Breyer Want List, doing some much-needed work on the Animal Molds, and adding nineteen issues to the Just About Horses section, including the new May/June 2009 issue.
