(c) Reeves International, Inc.Breyer produces two kinds of catalogs. One is meant for collectors, and can be found in the box of nearly ever Breyer model horse you purchase. The size of this collectors' catalog (or collector's manual) has varied since its inception in 1968 and is now about 5 1/4" x 7". Collectors' catalogs for recent years are usually pretty easy to find, as anyone who's been buying Breyers lately probably has several lying around the house. If you need one from the past ten years or so I'll gladly send you one for a SASE (Self-Addressed, Stamped Envelope).

Breyer also produces a much more detailed catalog which they send to their dealers--the dealer catalogs. These catalog, first released in 1954, provide background information on new molds and much larger photos of each release for that year. These catalogs are typically 8 1/2" x 11" and today cost the dealer about $6.00 from Breyer. You can usually find these for sale on eBay, through an Internet dealer, or at live shows where dealers are present.

Help Wanted! Yes, I'm holding out the hat again. I'm slowly gathering old catalogs, but it takes time and is fairly expensive. If you have a catalog that's not shown here, please contact me. I'd love to have your scanned images of it, or I'll gladly pay the postage if you're willing to entrust it to the Post Office on loan. If you have ones not shown here for sale, please let me know about that, too.
