The Family Arabian Mare (FAM) was introduced when the Proud Arabian Mare was first discontinued due to legal complaints made by the Hagen-Renaker company and followed the creation of the so-called In-Between Mare, which was never officially released by Breyer. The FAM, unlike the other two molds, has a tail that rests free of her hock and buttocks.
