Classic Molds

Home     Collecting    Showing    Buying    Clubs    Breeding    Links     Glossary of Hobby Terms

The first molds in the Classic scale (1:12) appeared during the 1960s: the Bucking Bronco and the Rearing Stallion. It wasn't until several years later in 1973 that Breyer first officially designated molds to be of Classic scale; these were the Classic Arabian Stallion, Mare, and Foal, sold as a gift set. The Classic scale remains the second most popular of Breyer's four main scales, after the Traditional.
