Special Run Sightings
As many collectors know, Breyer is fond of releasing Special Run models without listing those models on their web site or in Just About Horses. This is a list of those I've come across personally. If you discover others, please let me know!
April 2010: Walkabout Farm will have an exclusive Strapless model, named Valvella, available at the 2010 Rolex Three Day Event. The run is limited to 700 models, and you can preorder one through their website.
October 2009: Pottery Barn Kids will have their exclusive bay Strapless model available through their stores and web site starting October 8, 2009. List price is $49.00. Here's a picture:
September 2009: Red Rock is now available from Mid States Distributing dealers, including Rural King. She is a pretty red roan Lady Phase with the swish tail and lists online for $49.99. Here's a look at her:
August 2009: Tractor Supply Company will soon have John Wayne's Banner and the Bonanza Four Piece Classics Sets available. Watch for them in your local store and (possibly) online!
July 2009: Multiple Pony Gals Classic and Stablemate models, sets, and accessories are available, apparently exclusively through Target stores. These sets are in pink boxes, not the usual yellow and blue! Please see the New for 2009 page for full details.
